The short version
You can read the journal, browse the collection, and install the web app without accepting optional analytics. Orders and payment are completed on Etsy, so this website does not collect payment-card details. We do not offer public customer accounts or sell personal information collected through this website.
Information used to deliver and protect the site
Bluehost and WordPress infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security events to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain the service. Server logs are handled under the hosting provider’s operational and retention practices.
Optional site analytics
Google measurement is off until you choose “Accept analytics.” If accepted, the site loads the Google tag and sends page views and interaction events such as journal, Etsy, category, video, and install-button activity. Video events can include starts, progress milestones, completions, and errors. We use these aggregate signals to improve content and navigation—not to enable advertising personalization.

Cookies and local storage
- suegum_analytics_consent stores “granted” or “denied” for up to 180 days so the site can remember your analytics choice.
- The homepage uses browser storage to vary recently shown product stories and videos and to remember broad on-site theme interest. This information stays in your browser and is not a name, email address, or customer profile.
- The installable web app uses a service-worker cache to make public pages and essential assets load reliably. You can clear site data or uninstall the app through your browser or device settings.
YouTube and other external media
Homepage video cards request thumbnail images from YouTube’s image service when the page loads, so Google/YouTube may receive technical request data such as your IP address, browser information, and the referring page. When you play a video, the site loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which may also receive playback and interaction data under its own terms. You can instead follow the YouTube link and watch there.
Etsy and product links
Product buttons open Etsy, where current pricing, options, checkout, payment, shipping, messages, and order support are handled. Etsy may tell SueGum about an order or customer message as needed to fulfill and support that transaction. Etsy controls the information it collects on its platform.
Contact and your choices
